Outreach Ministries |

Once a month we serve a meal in downtown Des Moines to the homeless and low-income men, women, and children at The Connection Café. |
|
If you would like to participate in bringing meals to families who either grieving or facing medical emergencies or if you would like to be involved in visiting people who are either home-based or hospitalized, please contact Allyson Schultze. |
|
During 2007, 190 families were helped or 570 individuals were given assistance at the pantry. A lot of food was donated by area churches, schools, scouts, business, the post office and individual families. |
|
In 2007 the disciples at New Life Lutheran very generously gave of their time and their talents to help refurbish and repair the St. Josephs Emergency Family Shelter and the St. Paul AME Transitional Family Housing apartments. |
