Worship Helpers are the backbone of our Sunday Morning Ministry
Every Sunday morning it takes a minimum of 12 volunteers plus staff and musicians to put together a meaningful, welcoming worship service. Each position fills a vital spot and the best part is - it's actually fun to be part of the service and a great way to interact with other members. If you've been thinking about volunteering but were unsure about what to do - no worries! a seasoned volunteer will come along side you and help with those 'first time jitters'. We often remind folks that 'WE are the Church' and we will always do church together.
Faith Formation Registration
Registration is open for faith formation in 2024-2025 online at newlifenorwalk.org. Mark your calendars for our first session for 6, 7 & 8th grade students on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 6:30 pm.

New Life Explorers: Curious About What's Happening in Cumming? So Are We!
Grief Share
Grief Share is a network of grief recovery support groups whose purpose is to assist congregations in providing ongoing support to those dealing with personal loss of loved ones. New Life will again be forming a Grief Share group led by Lisa Smith. The first of 12 weekly sessions will meet on Tuesday evening at 6:30 pm on September 17 and continue through December 10

Through the month of August & the first 2 weeks in September we will be collecting Tissues for Lakewood School. Donations may be dropped off in the south entrance.

The State of the Church Curious about what's next for New Life? Join Pastor Nate for a State of the Church presentation where we'll cover key financial updates, upcoming (and expected) staffing changes, and share some announcements about the 2025 ministry year. We’ll highlight new initiatives, plans for expanding our family and youth programs, and special events to help you grow in faith. Pick a time that works for you: Thursday, September 19 at 4:00 PM or Saturday, September 21 at 8:30 AM in the conference room.

Sunday Night Youth Night (SNYN)
Join us for Sunday Night Youth Night on September 8 from 6:00-7:30 PM, hosted by Graham, Eva, and Addie Smith! Enjoy a meal, fun & games, and a short devotion to kickstart your week. SNYN will recur at different homes on the second Sunday of each month. See you at 6506 77th Ln, Indianola.

Gentlemen, don’t miss this opportunity! Join us for lunch on September 19 at 11:30 AM at the Holiday Inn Mercy Campus for the Leading with Power-Des Moines event. Iowa State University Athletic Director, Jamie Pollard, will be the featured speaker. The cost is $25, and it’s a great chance to network, gain insights, and be inspired.
